COQUN® Preservative-free ophthalmic solution
Complementary therapy for antihypertensive glaucoma treatment
COMPOSITION
100 ml COQUN® eye drops contain the following:
100 mg Coenzyme Q10
500 mg Vitamin ETPGS (D- a-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate)
Up to 100 ml of buffered isotonic solution.
WHEN SHOULD COQUN® BE USED?
COQUN® is a sterile preservative-free eye drop containing two antioxidant molecules (Coenzyme Q10 and Vitamin E TPGS), available in a 10 ml bottle. COQUN® is used as a complement to antihypertensive glaucoma treatment (reduction of high intraocular pressure) due to its ability to prevent oxidative damage associated with glaucoma pathology.
DIRECTION OF USE
Instill 1-2 drops of COQUN® into the conjunctival sac of each eye 2 times a day or as recommended by your doctor.
HOW TO USE COQUN®?

Remove the safety ring before using the product.

Gently pull the lower eyelid downwards and looking upwards, instil 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac of each eye. Gently squeeze the bottle to apply the product. Due to the structural characteristics of the application bottle for preservative-free solutions, it may be necessary to apply more pressure to allow the product to flow as the bottle empties.
 
Reseal the bottle immediately after use. The solution may be used for 2 months from the date of first opening.
What are other instructions for use that must be followed?
Instil COQUN® at least 10 minutes after administering other medicines.
WARNINGS
Do not use this product if you are allergic or hypersensitive to any of its components.
If you experience any undesirable effects, discontinue use and contact your ophthalmologist.
This product can also be applied while wearing contact lenses.
Instil the product at least 10 minutes before or after applying other hypotonic medicines.
The product remains sterile for up to 60 days from the date of first opening.
The expiry date is valid if the product is unopened and stored correctly in its packaging.
Do not use this product after the expiry date printed on the packaging.
Wash your hands before applying the product.
Avoid getting the bottle tip in your eyes.
Do not use the bottle if it is damaged.
Keep the product away from light and heat sources and keep out of the reach of children.
For ophthalmic use. Should not be swallowed.
